Trying to Keep People Safe & Alive in Mt Washington Valley through the Winter

Any funds raised through this campaign will be used to extend the ways we can help people in life-threatening weather. Such funds will be used for the most vulnerable people only. We will provide gas cards, emergency camping gear, and other items that can help keep people safe. We will continue to partner with local towns and other organizations to provide other safety nets. The winter extremes began 6 weeks earlier than usual this year, and the state funding allocated to Carroll County has been exhausted. In that time, we provided 1,000 bed nights, which is 300 more than last year, since December. Any donations now provided will give us flexibility to respond to extreme circumstances.
